The Career Of My Professional Career - 1398 Words
I have successfully completely my Bachelorââ¬â¢s degree in Accounting and have over five years of work experience. There are several notable achievements in my professional career. I have always left a positive mark on my employers and looked for ways to make a difference in every position. For instance, I once took an initiative to update the organizationââ¬â¢s processes for creating internal reports. I built custom queries in Oracle to address various vendor inquiries and aging report to view the outstanding balances. This effort had an immediate impact on several departments, which drastically saved time and increased productivity. On another occasion, I created an advanced variance analysis template, which helped the management to keep trackâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦I have proactively taken part in online workshops and seminars, which have helped me to take better photos and be more familiar with modern camera technology. For other times, I use to take advantage of the SAIT wellness center that promoted active living. For two consecutive years, I participated in the CRA Tax volunteer program at SAIT. I helped students file their taxes and answer any questions. I briefly explained the tax forms to report income and the eligibility of the credits to reduce their taxes. I aspire to be in a managerial position that would build on my skills, knowledge and professional expertise. I am an ambitious individual who looks for different ways to excel and turns every challenge into an opportunity. I have been very fortunate to work in a healthcare organization for over three years, where I have constantly been in positions to learn and grow. My professional experience has encouraged me to meet new people and establish strong working relationships. Throughout this journey, I have received a wide range of support and guidance from the various levels of management. This has inspired me to be in a role where I have a greater amount of responsibility while being a good leader at the same time. All these aspects have prepared me to take the next step and enter into the Masterââ¬â¢s program to further advance my knowledge, skills, and abilities in an academic setting.
